Insurance Claim Information
Certified Hail accepts claims from all insurance companies.
Collision or Hail?
Did you know that damage to your vehicle related to hail, wind, vandalism, and other causes NOT related to a collision fall into a different category called Comprehensive? Your insurance cannot raise your rates for making these types of claims! You may also carry a lower deductible for these unforeseen situations. Asking your agent to lower the deductible on your comprehensive coverage only slightly raises your premiums and can save you a lot of money in the long run.
My vehicle has hail damage! What now?
If you notice damage to your vehicle from a hail storm, chances are, the repairs will far exceed your deductible. The first step is to call your insurance company and file a claim. You will need to provide the location, date, and time of the incident. The claim representative will provide you with a claim number. They might also suggest a repair shop if you don't already have one in mind, however, you are always entitled to take your vehicle to the shop of your choice. At Certified Hail and Dent, we handle every other aspect of the claims process for you. Just drop off your vehicle with a claim number and we'll take it from there! We offer a lifetime guarantee on all repairs for as long as you own the vehicle. If the damage is very minimal, bring your vehicle in to Certified Hail and Dent for a free evaluation. In some cases, we can offer discounts to customers who are not covered or decide not to make a claim.
There is no law that requires you to obtain more than one estimate or appraisal. Your insurance company may request that you visit their claim center for inspection, but you can also request to have your vehicle inspected at Certified Hail and Dent.
